On the 5th of September 2023, SYF partnered with Safe Circles, a small but dedicated organization focused on educating youth on topics that are lacking in our education system. SYF’s donation enabled Safe Circles to facilitate workshops across the island by connecting with schools, orphanages and government institutions.

These workshops provided children and caregivers with education on subjects such as body safety, menstrual and reproductive health. The goal of these workshops is to empower children to recognize, prevent, and speak up about abuse, reduce misinformation around menstrual health issues, know their rights, and much more.

Thus far, this partnership has enabled over 1,400 children across Sri Lanka to gain essential knowledge and skills to improve their well-being and safety.
