Reza and Sabrina were married for 9 wonderful years and have 2 daughters together. Reza wanted to do something special, meaningful and sustainable to always remember Sabrina and the impact she had. He also wanted Norah and Layla to recognise the generosity, empathy and kindness their mother treated others with and felt a Foundation in her name, focused on changing lives for the better, would be just that.
Reza is an entrepreneur and investor with experience across finance, banking, technology and real estate. He currently serves as the Executive Director and CEO of the Crystal Property Group, a leisure focused real estate developer and hospitality chain, and is also a Co-Founder of Behaviol Pte, an online sports entertainment company.

Hanif is Sabrina’s father. His bond to Sabrina is something unique and exists to this day. He is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist and has built one of the most successful companies in Sri-Lanka, Expolanka PLC, which is the largest company listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange and an internationally renowned global freight forwarding company. His passion to do good for others shines through the organisation he has built and the charitable causes he continuously supports.

Saif is Sabrina’s older brother. He celebrates a career in travel and logistics being the managing director of Peri Logistics, Classic Travel (Pvt) Ltd, Expo Freight, ITX360 and Oki Doki (Pvt) Ltd. In his spare time Saif enjoys supporting less privileged communities. One of many such endeavors is his owning and developing the Colombo Football Club which has won multiple Sri-Lankan Premier League football titles, whilst providing many residents of less privileged communities the opportunity to engage in sport at an amateur and professional level. Saifs latest community-based endeavor is setting up a farm in a rural village in Sri-Lanka with the intent to empower local communities.

Shuaib is Sabrina’s younger brother. He is also the Director of EFL Canada and the Chief Creative & Sustainability Officer of ExpoLanka Holdings PLC. Shuaib being the affectionate brother he is, has taken on the responsibility of the sustainability role that Sabrina held in the organization with the vision of furthering all the projects that Sabrina championed, one such project was the Yahaguna Padhanama which is a community kitchen feeding 300 people a meal a day. He is also the founder and CEO of Likuid Ventures, a start-up investment fund that has co-founded and invested in business brands in technology, retail, workspaces, F&B & hospitality. Additionally, Shuaib is the CEO of Autom8, Sri Lanka’s first Building Automation & Security store.

Sarah and Sabrina met in Grade 4 when they were 8 years old and they had been best friends ever since. Though Sarah’s educational and professional background has been in film production, journalism, advertising and event management, this change in career and industry seemed like a no brainer. With years of experience in Sabrina and a passion for meaningful work, Sarah was the ideal candidate for the job.

Our office youngster – Sarah (or as she prefers to be called – Sarah2) is our jack of all trades. She has a passion for both numbers and cats. When she isn’t multitasking at the Foundation headquarters, Sarah can be found working on her CIMA qualification.

Lee has been SYF’s knowledge and experience source with her 15+ years of experience in the NGO sector both in Sri Lanka and globally. Lee’s career has focused on ensuring equity in health and disability development initiatives.
